Union Aid is a non-governmental organisation, registered under Societies Act 1860 in 2012. Union Aid was established by Dr. Toryalay Nassery and initiated its activities in health sector after its establishment in 1979 that formally commenced from 1980 with the prior permission from Ministry of SAFRON, Government of Pakistan. Union Aid is actively providing health care services, education, scholarships, vocational training and family support programs.

Union Aid was established in 1979. It was one of the pioneer organizations serving Afghan refugees in Pakistan by providing regular support in health, nutrition, WASH, education, livelihood, emergency response, environmental protection, and much more such as: These programs were implemented with the support of different donors including UN agencies such as UNHCR, WHO, WFP, UNFPA, and international organizations such as MI, IRC, Care International, Canada Fund, AFV, Otto Benecke Foundation, and many others. Besides in the 1980s Union Aid was providing health programs in all provinces of Afghanistan. Currently, Union Aid implements various projects in health, livelihood, education, rehabilitation of basic infrastructures, and humanitarian response projects in more than 22 provinces of Afghanistan.
Union Aid invites sealed tenders from registered suppliers for the deployed/supply of the following items at Kabul, Main Office.

- Tender pack can be downloaded from our website www.unionaid.org and www.acbar.org. Tender document can also be collected by sending email request to logistics@unionaid.org
- Sealed tenders must be submitted to House No. 01, Dan Nal, Bagh-e-Balah, Kabul, Afghanistan, on or before 01:00 PM on 05-May-2026. The bidder should write down the word “TENDER” on the sealed envelope. Tenders will not be opened before 01:30 PM on 05-May-2026.
- Tenders will be opened on the same day i.e., 05-May-2026 at Time 1:30 PM. in the presence of suppliers or their representatives, who wish to witness the tender opening at House No 01, Dan Nal, Bagh-e-Balah, Kabul Afghanistan.
- In case a public holiday is announced by the Government (Due to any reason) the tender will be opened the next working day at the same time and venue.
- The Supplier must quote only one option for each item. Bids received with more than one options and rates may be rejected.
- if any selected bidder refuses to accept the order for the offered lot/lots or refuses to sign the contract, Union Aid reserves the right to forfeit the bid security of the bidder.
- Suppliers must not be engaged in any corruption, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but not limited to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices his/her bid may be rejected and the companies must be permanently black listed with UA.
- Only the shortlisted supplier/Companies will be asked to provide samples for physical check.
- Lowest price will not be the sole criteria for selection, furthermore the quality, delivery time, and previous experience will also be considered.
- All medical supplies should have at least 18 months of remaining useful life (expiry date).
- The delivery period for the supply of pharmaceuticals is – As per the Order date.
- All values entered in the unit price column must be reviewed carefully. In the event of any discrepancy between the unit price and the total amount, the unit price shall prevail.
- Any shortage of any required items in market or inflation problems will negatively impact Union Aid supplies, Supplier is expected to inform the shortage of supply at the time (15 days before the supply date). Union aid will select the alternative available brand.
