Union Aid invites sealed tenders from registered suppliers for the supply of the following items
at house #9, street #2 of Balkh University, district #6, Mazar-e-Sharif Afghanistan.

Terms & Conditions:
1. Tender documents can be collected from house #9, street #2 of Balkh University, district #6, Mazar
e-Sharif Afghanistan. 08:00 AM to 04:00PM, Sunday to Thursday. The tender pack can also be
downloaded from our website www.unionaid.org and www.acbar.org. Tender document can also be
collected by sending email request to info@unionaid.org
2. Sealed tenders should reach house #9, street #2 of Balkh University, district #6, Mazar-e-Sharif
Afghanistan. before 04:00 PM hours on 9th June 2024 and should be clearly marked “TENDER - Not to be
opened before “10:00 AM on 10th June 2024”
3. Tenders will be opened on the same day i.e., 10th June 2024 at Time 10:00 AM hrs. in the presence of
suppliers or their representatives, who wish to witness the tender opening.
4. In case a public holiday is announced by the Government (Due to any reason) the tender will be opened
the next working day at the same time and venue.
5. As the repair work does not contain sample check further the quality of work will be assessed during
performance and will be monitored by inspection committee.
6. The Supplier must quote only one option for each item/service. Bids received with more than one
options and rates must be rejected.
7. Tender committee reserves the right to change the quantities or cancel/reject any or all offers without
assigning any reason, if any selected bidder refuses to accept the order for the offered lot/lots or refuses
to sign the contract, Union Aid reserves the right to forfeit the bid security of the bidder.
8. Suppliers must not be engaged in any corrupt, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but
not limited to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in
such practices his/her bid may be rejected and the companies in question permanently black listed
9. The awarding will be fulfilled by the supplier/Company and Client (Union Aid), based on the following
criteria (Refer to tender pack document number 2 for evaluation criteria)

Update License
d. Company Bank Account Details

Annual Turnover
f.
Relevant Experience
g. Site Visit Report
h. Delivery Period

5% Bid Security
10. All values in unit price column should be entered carefully. In case there is any discrepancy between
unit price and total amount, value put in unit price column will govern.
11. Payment details of the supplier must be clear stated e.g. The company bank account details.
12. Any shortage of any required items in market problems will negatively impact Union Aid supplies,
Supplier is expected to inform the shortage of Renovation and Wash Items at the time (15 days before
the supply date). Union aid will select the alternative available brand.
13. The Renovation and Wash items/services should be delivered at 6 BHCs of Mazar-e-Sharif
