The Action Medeor emergency response project has successfully concluded with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) conducting an orientation session for the field-level staff of the "Humanitarian Assistance for Earthquake Affected Communities in Herat Province" project in Herat on December 19, 2023. This session covered assessment methodologies, data collection, and post-project feedback mechanisms. Beneficiary identification for the Food and Hygiene package distribution, targeting 47 families in Sarbiland village of Zinda Jan severely affected by earthquakes, was completed on December 24, 2023. Initial site preparation, involving the establishment of 2*2 squares for each of the 47 beneficiaries, was carried out on December 26, 2023, at the distribution port. The allocated packages have been distributed systematically in Sar -Biland village, with strategically placed banners highlighting the project, Action Medeor, and UA logos. A comprehensive speech was delivered to provide insights into Action Medeor's activities and project funding.
