Job Description:
The Finance/Tax Officer will provide essential support to the finance and tax compliance functions of UA-MI health project. This role involves assisting in financial record-keeping, tax documentation, tax clearance and reporting to ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations. He/She will be bases in Kabul office and will travel to UA-MI Health Project Office at Mazar-e-Sharif, if and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in recording financial transactions and expenses.
Tax Compliance:
- Preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Ensure accurate documentation of tax-related information.
Financial Reporting:
- Support the finance team in generating financial reports.
- Help maintain transparent and accurate financial reporting.
Data Entry and Documentation:
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Two years experience in Finance & Taxation
- Basic knowledge of financial and tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
