Job Description:

The Male Nurse as part of the primary healthcare services will be delivering quality healthcare services to patients in HF, and he is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, promoting health education, and assisting the head of HF in the management of HF and various healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in HF.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
  • Conduct health assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and medical history documentation of patients in HF.
  • Collaborate with HF’s healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures, disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Assist in the coordination of healthcare programs, such as immunization campaigns, health screenings, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance nursing knowledge and skills.
  • Stay updated with current healthcare practices, guidelines, and regulations relevant to primary healthcare.
  • Collaborating with doctors in categorizing patients and conducting examinations.
  • Working with various sections of the health center, such as vaccination, maternal and child health, etc., to improve health services.
  • Actively participating in health education sessions.
  • Generating monthly reports on all activities within the relevant department.
  • Update all reporting tools on a daily basis.
  • Keep and maintain a good filing system for all documents
  • Assist line supervisor in performing other duties assigned by the organization.
 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid nursing license/certification.
  • Proven experience as a nurse in a primary healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare technology and electronic medical record systems.
