Job Description:
Union Aid is seeking a capable IT Assistant for Kabul Office for UA-AFV/HEALTH project implemented by Union Aid. The IT Assistant will be responsible for assure Union Aid’s IT policies are strictly exercised in daily activities and documents are provided accordingly. The candidate will be responsible for the implementation of rules, and regulations, and control of efficient and effective IT operations.
This is a professional Information Technology position the incumbent is responsible for the design, organization, functionality, accessibility, navigation, and overall usability of IT networks for the entire departments. This position works closely with organization depts. and clients to ensure the IT framework supports the instruction, research, and outreach initiatives that sustain the organization's overall mission.

Responsibilities:
- Helping to install, configure and maintain the UA’s IT facilities,
- IT support to solve technical problems of UA’s staff in the main office and provincial offices.
- Maintain the website and other web portals of UA.
- Design & Develop needed pages for the website and add functionalities to the web portal of UA.
- Help UA’s staff in taking backup of files and securing their PCs from data loss, and getting backup files.
- Maintain the email server of UA & ensure privacy and confidentiality in the use of email addresses.
- Maintain IT stock and complete required documents regarding IT devices.
- Working with IT department in installation and configuration of IPPBX, intercom system, Windows server, and managing active directories and shared folders.
- Design, banners, covers, and required design needs for support of the program.
- Keeping updated the content of the UA website and social media pages.
- Keeping records of network configurations, peripheral specifications, problems, solutions, etc.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Systems, and computer informatics.
- Two years of practical working experience in IT with local NGOs or International NGOs.
- Familiarity with Laravel 9.5 framework and windows Server 2016
- Knowing designing software will be a plus point.
- Good written and fluent verbal communication skills in Pashto, Dari, and English.
