Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) Training

The recent Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) training conducted by Union Aid for health center staff (both male and female medical doctors) in the health project supported by #malteserinternational, the training aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively identify, manage, and treat acute malnutrition in children under five years old and pregnant and lactating women (PLWs).
Participants learned about the various types of malnutrition and effective screening methods, emphasizing the critical role of community engagement in both the prevention and treatment of malnutrition. This training provided an invaluable opportunity for healthcare providers to strengthen their capacity to address acute malnutrition within their communities. At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded certificates of participation, recognizing their commitment to improving health outcomes.
