The Eleven day Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood illness (IMNCI) training being conducted for male MDs of the BHCs covered by Union Aid in Mazar-e-Sharif.
The mentioned training is an Integrated approach to child health that focuses on the well being of the whole child.
IMNCI primarily focuses in the most common causes of child mortality-diarrhea, pneumonia, measles, malaria and malnutrition illness affecting children aged under 5 years including preventive and curative elements to be implemented by families.
Union Aid is committed to improve the medical staff capacity through conduction of trainings and capacity building programs.
