Recently IMAM (Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition)
Recently IMAM (Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition), was conducted by Union Aid for HFs staff (Male & female MD, Nutrition Nurse, Nutrition Counselor and Midwives),. The training aimed to equip Healthcare providers with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, manage and treat acute malnutrition children under 5 years of age and PLWs. Participants learned bout the different types of malnutrition, how to screen for malnutrition, and how to provide appropriate treatment using Ready- to-Use therapeutic Food (RUTF). The training also emphasized the importance of community mobilization and involvement in the prevention and treatment of malnutrition. Overall, the IMAM training was a valuable opportunity for health facility staff to improve their capacity to address acute malnutrition in their communities.
The participant received certificate of participation at the end of the program.
