Balkh Field Mission
From 19–23 April 2026, a Union Aid Head Office delegation led by the Executive Director conducted a field visit to Balkh Province to monitor ongoing health projects and assess the quality of essential health services.
The delegation, supported by technical and operational teams, visited six health facilities and several health posts, providing on-site technical guidance and engaging with community members. Feedback from the communities reflected a high level of satisfaction with the services provided.
The visit reinforced Union Aid's commitment to improving healthcare quality and supporting frontline health workers. Union Aid continues to deliver quality essential health services to more than 185,000 people in Balkh Province in line with national standards and the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS).
