Job Description:

- Screen all under five years old children and pregnant and lactating women for acute malnutrition
- Lead individual and group nutrition counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients and caregivers
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures.
- Ensure accurate recording of nutrition information in the clinic registers, and timely completion of summary reports.
- Record and carry-out growth monitoring including height, weight, MUAC measurement of all children under two years old.
- Deliver counseling for mothers/caregivers of all children under two years old on proper IYCF practices, prevention infections and community mobilization.
- Categorize all the children in Normal, Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) and Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).
- Distributing of RUTF and RUSF for SAM and MAM diagnosed children and Super-Cereal for PLWs with acute malnutrition.
- Reporting: Report daily activities, achievements, success-story/lesson learned and challenges to the team leader on daily basis.
- Health Promotion: Promote and raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition and exclusive breastfeeding through community engagement activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Nutrition Officer and other healthcare staff to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.
- Fulfil any other assignment given by his/her supervisor

Job Requirements:
Graudate from reputable nursing institute,
At least two years experince as Nutrition Nurse,
Dietitians and nutritionists must keep up with food and nutrition,
Ability to Awareness , Diagnosis and treatment
Understanding local languages ( Dari , Pashto ) and knowledge of English
