During the shortage of medicine and medical services for war-wounded and local people, UA prepared first aid kits. In 1989, almost 20,000 Kits were provided to Afghan individuals.
UA provided medicine to liberated parts of Afghanistan where the requirement for medicine was very high. In total, tens of thousands of first aid kits,800 tons of medicine, and thousands of stretchers were provided to Afghan individuals over 15 years.
