MIYCN Training Program | Improving Nutrition Services
To improve the quality of nutrition counselling and services, Union Aid conducted a MIYCN (Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition) training program from 5–10 September 2026 at its central office in Kabul.
The six-day training brought together Female Medical doctors and nutrition counsellors from seven health facilities, who received practical and specialized training on maternal, infant and young child nutrition, effective counselling, and quality nutrition service delivery.
The program focused on promoting evidence-based nutrition counselling and better support for mothers, infants, and young children at health facilities.
