Innaugration Ceremoney of Labratories and Waiting Areas
On August 13, 2025, a significant innovation was achieved with the inauguration ceremony held at Qulab BHC in the Shakardara district of Kabul. The event marked the activation of waiting areas for men and women, as well as laboratory sections in all seven BHCs in 4 districts (Qarabagh, Shakardara, Kalakan, and Bagrami) of Kabul province. This initiative, led by Union Aid, involved the construction of two dedicated waiting areas in each BHC—one for men and another for women—equipped with TV screens for broadcasting health education sessions and facilitating in-person educational discussions. Additionally, laboratory sections were established in all seven BHCs, featuring two extra rooms to support healthcare services.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed government officials, including the Director of Public Health, the Shakardara District Representative, and the District Health Officer in Kabul. Members of the Health Center Shura, village representatives, BHC staff, and the leadership of Union Aid also attended this momentous occasion. This collaborative effort underscores a shared commitment to improving healthcare access and education for communities across the region.
